alice and steve?

so time to tell of my hot date with karen. we met up in subiaco, had strawberries and juice sitting randomly in the middle of a grassy patch on the side of the road- picnic style, people were confused, but why have grass there if you dont want people to picnic on it!? then we did dinner at han's cafe. we ordered spring rolls, and then i ordered a chicken satay entre and karen ordered a beef satay entre, THEN she orderered a spicy chicken salad too!! i was wondering how she would fit it all in but did not question her. we had high hopes... [the spicy chicken salad ended up being quite spicy and that along with some of her spring roll and maybe even some satay beef was doggy bagged- see her previous comments]
after dinner karen had been invited to see this play-type-thing that people from her work were invoved in. she works in the women and infant health part of a hospital, ie ObGyn stuff and where people give birth and stuff. her boss was one of the main characters in this play, HE was eve (as in adam and eve, whilst adam was played by a female, hence i titled this post "alice and steve"). boys pretending to be girls, wearing short skirts should be illegal!
it was a very traumatic experience and life shall never be the same again -the play was traumatic that is, not playing with karen... i LOVE karen!

I LOVE you too!!!
(Im so sorry I put you through that horrific experience - but at the same time I am kind of glad you were with me so we can laugh about how bad it was! If I was there all by myself I would probably be talking to myself and rocking back and forth in a corner somewhere still trying to get the images out of my head. Thanks so much for making it fun!)
How funny was the scary ticket lady? And that woman totally changed her baby's nappy on our seat right next to us? AND THEY CHARGED $3.50 for TEA!!! What, was it grown on top of a mountain in Nepal and distilled in pure glacial water and slowly brought to boil over an open fire made from wood from a special tree or something?
